From our centre at ONCAMPUS UK North, based on the campus of the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), students are encouraged to develop the skills required for progression onto degree programmes at the best UK universities.

With our partner UCLan, offering guaranteed progression (subject to achieving progression criteria), students can choose to continue onto a degree at UCLan or apply to any other UK university with our help and support through the UCAS application process.

University of Central Lancashire
The University of Central Lancashire is a public university based in the city of Preston, Lancashire, England. It has its roots in The Institution For The Diffusion Of Useful Knowledge founded in 1828. Subsequently, known as Harris Art College, then Preston Polytechnic, then Lancashire Polytechnic, in 1992 it was granted university status by the Privy Council. The university is the 19th largest in the UK in terms of student numbers.

ONCAMPUS UK North has a  range of accommodation on offer, including University-owned halls of residence and private student halls.
Foundry Court
Foundry Court is perfectly located just a 3 minute walk away from ONCAMPUS UK North.

The accommodation has a large shared common room with pool, table tennis, table football and a flat screen TV.

The nearest food shop is in the Student Union, a 3 minute walk away or there is a supermarket within a 5 minute walk. The shopping centre and train station can be accessed by walking or by bus within 10 to
15 minutes.

The University of Central Lancashire operates on three campuses, with its main campus located in Preston. Preston is widely recognized as one of the best-connected cities in the UK, with a train station just 10 minutes away. It is also considered the safest city for students to live in the United Kingdom.

For students who are on campus at night, the UCLan Safety Bus is available to ensure a safe journey home. The bus runs from 10 pm to 4.30 am in the PR1 and PR2 areas, making it an ideal option for night owls studying in the Library, which remains open 24/7 during term-time.

All students are entitled to free sports memberships at the Sir Tom Finney Sports Centre and UCLan Sports Arena. These outstanding facilities include a fully equipped gym and fitness suite, a sports hall, and outdoor sports pitches.

In addition to the main campus in Preston, the University of Central Lancashire has other campuses located in Burnley, Westlakes, Cyprus, Mauritius, and Hebei China. These satellite campuses are operated in partner institution facilities.
