What are Qualifying Marks?

The minimum scores a candidate must achieve to get their name on the college counseling list are the qualifying marks.
How many marks do you need to score to qualify for the NEET exam?

For example, if the qualifying mark is 50th percentile, you need to score 50% of the total aspirants who took part in the test. This changes every year as per the total number of aspirants but to give an approximation; it is around 150 to 200.
Are qualifying marks and cutoff the same?

No, the qualifying marks are the score required to qualify for the counseling process, while the cutoff determines your admissions to the particular college.
