What are the rules for F1 visa holders?

As an F-1 visa holder, there are certain rules and regulations that you must follow to maintain your status and stay legally in the United States. Here are some of the most important rules for F-1 visa holders:
Edmissions
Attend school full-time
You must be enrolled in a full course of study at an accredited educational institution in the United States. This means you must be attending classes full-time each academic term, except for approved breaks or vacations.

Maintain good academic standing
You must maintain a satisfactory academic progress and a GPA that meets the requirements of your school. Failure to do so may result in academic probation, suspension, or termination of your F-1 status.
