When is the Test Conducted?
In IELTS, you need to listen to four recordings based on different types of questions.

In Duolingo, you need to listen to a list of spoken words with real and pseudo-English words.

The IELTS writing section comprises of two tasks essay writing, letter/summarize a graph.

 In the Duolingo English Test, you need to select the real English words amongst the pseudowords and write a minimum of 500 words as per the question.
