PGWP document checklist

After completing your studies, if you wish to remain in Canada to work, you can apply for a post-graduate work permit.
Edmissions
Eligible applicants must:
Obtain a degree, diploma, or certificate from a Designated Learning Institution (DLI) that lasted at least eight months. Maintain full-time status as a student in Canada during each semester

  • Photocopies of passport pages
  • Photocopies of travel or identity document
  • Photocopy of current immigration document
  • A final transcript
  • A letter from the institution and formal notice of graduation
