The University of Queensland offers India High Achievers scholarships to Indian passport holders. The university's official website -  uq.edu.au - provides information about courses and scholarships.
 

The High Achievers Award in India provides a yearly reduction of 20 percent on tuition fees throughout the duration of the enrolled coursework program. This award will only cover the approved credit points that are available.

Prospective students do not need to apply separately for this scholarship. The Admissions team will assess their eligibility for the scholarship when they submit their application to study at UQ. They will receive the scholarship and their letter of offer to study at the university if eligible.

The India High Achievers Scholarship, offered by The University of Queensland, provides eligible Indian students with a scholarship valued at 20%* of the total tuition fees for various full-time programs.

University of Queensland Scholarship Eligibility
 

 Students are eligible for the Scholarship if they meet the following criteria:
 

• They have applied to study at UQ on a full-time basis in a relevant program starting in  2024 and have received an offer.
• They will enroll full-time, taking 8 units per semester unless otherwise specified by their study plan.
• They have met the program's entry rank and English language proficiency requirements.
• They have not received any other scholarships, tuition fee reductions, or rebates from UQ.
•  They have yet to receive a full scholarship or sponsorship from another organization. However, applicants with partial scholarships or sponsorships may be considered at the University's discretion.

Eligible subjects for scholarship 

The High Achievers Award India is open to all undergraduate and postgraduate coursework programs at The University of Queensland, as long as they consist of at least 16 units. However, there are a few exceptions to this eligibility criteria. The following programs are not eligible for the award: 

• Bachelor of Arts (Hons) or Bachelor of Science (Hons) with a major in Psychology
• Bachelor of Dental Science (Hons)
• Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons)

How to apply for the University of Queensland scholarship?

Students are automatically considered for the scholarship if they meet the eligibility requirements and apply for a program at UQ. No separate application process is required as it is included in the evaluation of the program application.

If any student is selected for this scholarship, the college will notify the student via email and provide the deadline for accepting the scholarship.
