Parul University

Parul University has developed an on-site dormitory with separate spaces for men and women to accommodate up to 7000 students. All hostels have 24-hour water (hot water on time in winter), electricity, and WiFi.

Scholarship to SC candidates

Income Limit

No income limit applies to female candidates, but male candidates must have an annual income of at least Rs 250000.

Scholarship to ST Candidates

Income Limit

There is no limit on the family income for girls, but for boys the income must not exceed Rs 250000 per year.

Scholarship to NTDNT candidates

The postmetric, postsecondary, and postgraduate phases of Parul University are awarding post-metric scholarships to ST (NTDNT) students according to the government's standards so that they may finish their studies in accredited educational institutions in the state. Male and female students who earn less than Rs 200000 annually may be awarded Parul University scholarship covering tuition, maintenance allowances, and exam fees up to Rs 50000.

Scheme of Mukhya Mantri Swavlamban Yojna

Parul University provides scholarships to academically accomplished and financially needy students who have completed their Class 12 science/general programme or Class 10 studies at one of the accredited schools in Gujarat. An online application form is available at http://mysy.guj.nic.in. The income ceiling for female and male students is Rs 450000 annually. Students receive 50% tuition fees. Boarding and lodging costs as well as textbooks and equipment are provided by the government, up to the level prescribed.

Special Scholarship Scheme for J&K Students

The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development, Indian human resource development ministry provides a special scholarship to students who graduate from Class 11 or an equivalent course. An annual income of Rs 600,000 is permitted for both male and female students. Students may apply online to AICTE starting in the academic year 2015-2016.

Parul University has 10 libraries with 24000 books, 15825 online journals/magazines, 1300 print journals/magazines, 30 news dailies, encyclopedias, books on general knowledge and competitive exams, dictionaries, previous volumes of journals/magazines, and DELNET remote access to thousands of libraries, as well as reference and plagiarism software. Every library is connected to the central library 'Gyanoday Bhawan' and is fully computerized with barcode technology for borrowing and returning materials. More than 20,000 students get book bank services every year at the campus.

Cafeteria

Parul University prioritizes providing hygienic, homely, and healthy meals for all of its students and scholars. Every day, the university's dining halls and messes provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner according to a daily menu with special dietary requirements on Sundays. Furthermore, the students can dine at the campus food courts and cafeteria throughout the day for coffee, tea, cold drinks, ice cream, and a variety of food. Nescafé outlets are also available for students and staff.
