The only students who are obligated to pay for housing fees are graduate and non-scholarship students.

Maqam Housing Halls and Taqam Housing offer rooms to students, with separate accommodations for male and female students. Students living on campus are provided with a range of facilities, including laundry service, maintenance, cleaning, internet access, access to PC labs, and free shuttle bus service. Additionally, student residences have access to various recreation facilities on campus, such as sports and entertainment halls, TV lounges, modern gyms, artificial grasslands, cafes, libraries, and football, volleyball, tennis, and basketball courts. Each housing unit has a Housing Social Club that arranges social, cultural, sports, and other activities for students.

United Arab Emirates University Scholarships

International undergraduate students can avail of full or partial tuition scholarships at United Arab Emirates University. The application process for these scholarships is online. The scholarships remain valid up to graduation, provided the students meet the eligibility criteria. Exceptional academic performance is the criterion for being awarded full-tuition scholarships. Such scholarships cover 100% of the tuition fees.

Students who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance in high school may qualify for a partial scholarship that covers 50% of their tuition fees.

UAEU was established in 1976 under the leadership of Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan with the aim of becoming a research-focused and inclusive university. At present, it has around 14,000 students hailing from both Emirati and international backgrounds.

The documents required for international students to apply at UAEU are:

Undergraduate Admission

To be eligible for undergraduate programs, applicants must meet the following admission requirements:

Successful completion of a Grade 12 certificate.
Submission of proof of English language proficiency.
A minimum EmSAT Arabic score of 1100 is necessary for programs taught in Arabic.
Equivalency certificate from the UAE Ministry of Education for High School Certificate.
For students from Indian boards, a minimum of 75% in Senior Secondary School Certificate in standard XII or its equivalent is required.

Graduate Admission

In order to apply for graduate programs, the following documents must be submitted along with the completed application form:

Completion of a bachelor's degree.
Submission of official transcripts, mark sheets, and certificates from all previously attended institutions.
