There are 6 halls on Modesto Maidique Campus (MMC) and a private student living facility on Biscayne Bay Campus (BBC)

Florida International University Biscayne Bay Campus Services & Facilities

There are numerous facilities at the BBC for students to explore outside of the classroom through organizations and clubs that allow students to get engaged, meet new people, network, and improve their personal and professional abilities. The campus is located on the bay and has its own campus culture, student housing, library, and recreation facility (called the Bay Life). It offers unique adventurous activities and one-of-a-kind access to Florida's aquatic ecology due to its gorgeous position. The campus has everything from cutting-edge research labs to culinary and art incubators to media and creative spaces.

BBC also has a Student Government Association and Student Programming Council branches and campus committees like the U-Wide Black Student Union and Homecoming Council, among other things.

Florida International University Biscayne Bay Campus Admission Requirements

Some standard requirements exist for students to apply to Florida International University - Biscayne Bay Campus. The standard eligibility criteria are:

Students must be 18 years or above at the beginning of the course.
Students from non-English speaking countries must have taken a language test like PTE, IELTS, TOEFL or other equivalent exams to prove their proficiency in English.
Students need to provide original transcripts from all academic institutions attended. If the transcripts are not originally in English, students must submit translated copies with each original document.

Very friendly Campus

FIU is a very friendly campus. However, it may seem a bit small when compared to other large state universities. I find that FIU is a great place to go to college. The faculty here is very helpful and the professors actually care about students. They will go out of their way to help you whenever you need it. The campus has a library and a computer lab which are available to students 24/7. The campus is also very safe. The food options are limited. The on-campus dining centre is a bit overpriced and its food quality isn't that good.

My university provided me a whole lot more than a degree from a great school. I met many awesome students from everywhere. I also met my friends for life. The residential facilities were world class. It was fun to live in hostels with lots of other students. The campus was spread over 200 acres and every inch of it was utilized in the best possible way. The university had a great fitness centre and a swimming pool, free Wi-Fi and much more. The university also provided excellent financial aid options to students who are in need.
