On-Campus Living
Living on campus means you are just a short walk to your classrooms, the gym, or the library. You will meet friends in your residence hall from all around the world and can attend events on campus or walk across to University Mall for a cup of coffee or watch a movie. When you live in one of the residence halls, you are provided with a variety of resources and support beyond the classroom. Residence hall staff are available 24 hours a day.

Off-Campus Housing
There are many options for off-campus housing for rent close to George Mason University. Recommended types of housing for students include:
- House: Single building with multiple rooms. Usually shared with multiple roommates.
- Apartment/Flat: Room or suite of rooms that form one residence. Usually found in a large building containing many of these (apartment complex).
- Townhouse: Tall, narrow, traditional row house. Usually contains two or three floors and a common wall connecting the neighboring unit.
- Duplex: One house that has been divided into two separate living spaces. Contains a separate entrance for each unit.

The INTO Mason Student Services team partners with various student support offices and groups at Mason to offer a diverse range of co-curricular programs and services that focus on enhancing students' social and personal well-being. They assist international students settling into life in Fairfax by providing them with customized social opportunities and an array of resources catering to their specific requirements.
The community brings together students from all over the world to connect and exchange ideas. George Mason University provides a range of facilities, including accommodation for 270 students, 17 classrooms, over 100 computers, Wi-Fi throughout the center, a learning resource center with books, DVDs, and periodicals, a dining hall, lounges for meetings and study groups, and open spaces for socializing.
