About Study Group - University of Hartford
Since its founding in 1957, the University of Hartford has attracted students and faculty who change the world in meaningful ways. UHart is a diverse institution with a global reach, as students from approximately 50 countries come to study at one of its seven distinctive schools and colleges every year.
The 350-acre campus, with a branch of the Park River winding through it, sits at the crossroads of Hartford, Connecticut’s capital city, and the vibrant towns of West Hartford and Bloomfield. Boston and New York City are two hours away, and New England’s beaches, mountains and cultural attractions are easily accessible.
The national and global contributions of University of Hartford alumni — a community of more than 85,000 and counting — reflect the wide range of academic disciplines offered by the institution’s schools and colleges. UHart graduates are engineers, scientists, professional athletes, and performing artists. They are health professionals, journalists, educators, and entrepreneurs.
Our seven dynamic schools share a common focus: helping students partner their passion with their dream profession. And because we’re a campus of unique individuals who don’t all see the world the same way, we value difference. Our multiple perspectives make us better listeners and more thoughtful doers.

Living on Campus
All undergraduate IPP students will be housed in the same building among American and other international students. You'll be paired with a roommate in a double room in the F Complex. These residence halls accommodate eight to ten students in each suite. The rooms have cable TV and high-speed internet connections. In addition, each complex has laundry facilities, study lounges, and air conditioning.
Undergraduate students are required to live on campus and participate in the meal plan for the duration of their IPP experience. Living on campus also means that all campus facilities and services are within easy walking distance.
