Westcliff University was established to provide quality education for students wishing to enter the expanding fields of Business and Education. Westcliff received its initial approval with the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education in 1993 and is accredited under the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). Westcliff is comprised of a College of Business, College of Education, College of Technology & Engineering, and Western State College of Law.  Westcliff University offers graduate and undergraduate certificates and degree programs intended to prepare students for immediate entry and advancement in their respective industries. While some schools only teach theoretical concepts, the programs at Westcliff University prepare students for the practical and theoretical elements required in the job market today.

Westcliff University offers full-time working students a chance to enroll in 100% online courses or take courses onsite at its campuses in beautiful Southern California. All programs at Westcliff are designed to be convenient, flexible, and affordable.

Westcliff University prepares students for personal, professional, and academic success with innovative, up-to-date, and of high quality programs. The university has guidance and expertise from members of its faculty, Program Advisory Council, and Board of Trustees that includes key leaders from organizations such as Google, Hyundai, Kia, Asurion, Deloitte, Hewlett Packard, Hitachi Capital, Cox Communications, CATESOL, as well as other local and national businesses and organizations.

Westcliff University does not currently offer on-campus housing accommodations. However, students will find a wide variety of off-campus living arrangements that fit a wide range of budgets and preferences. Westcliff University is happy to introduce companies and services that provide host family/homestay placement services in the local area.

REXidence Residential Services offer furnished apartments and match incoming students who are in similar programs. They take care of furniture, utilities, and finding roommates in order to offer an affordable, shared or private room options for students.

Homestay Match offers students the opportunity to choose their own homestay location. Students can find the right match for them based on their preferences, budget, and other factors. Homestay Match offers the chance to improve a student's English skills and be comfortable with a host family as they first begin their courses. Homestay matches make sure to meet and screen each family before posting. Some even offer meal and transportation options!

USH Homestay connects students with Host Families and takes care of the search process for you. 24/7 Housing support is offered from move-in until move-out. Unlike Homestay Match, USH asks for an application, then finds the best host family for you. You can also request for meal options.

Student services offered at the campus support students throughout their academic careers from the point of enrollment to the moment of graduation. The staff works closely with each student to ensure they reach their educational goals and strive to foster the development of all students by providing academic advising, support services, and student life activities. 

The university promotes educational excellence and a global perspective to help students achieve their personal and academic aspirations. Along with academic services, the university also puts emphasis on its students’ mental and physical well-being by promoting intramurals and state-level sports events, including sports like Baseball, Basketball, Beach Volleyball, Cheer, Cross Country, E-Sports, Soccer, Softball, Surf, Swim & Dive, Tennis, Track & Field, and Volleyball.
