All international students must meet general and program-specific requirements to become eligible for admission to the University of Waterloo. Along with academic requirements, the students must fulfill English language proficiency requirements. Some standard eligibility requirements are given below:

Students should be at least 18 years old before taking admission.
Students should be proficient in English and must have taken IELTS, TOEFL, MELAB, and CAEL, DET, PTE or other equivalent exams.
Students must submit their original transcripts from all the academic institutions they have attended. Students must submit translated copies and the originals if the transcripts are not in English.

Student life here is amazing! I loved everything about this university. Teachers are helpful and the curriculum is updated. Campus ambience is relaxing and comforting. On weekends you can explore the town with your friends.
