Doon Business School Group

Established in 2007, Doon Business School (DBS Dehradun or Dehradun Business School) is a highly-respected management institute situated in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is affiliated with Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU) and approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). In 2019, it was ranked as the top B-School of Uttarakhand by The Week and was among the top 10 B-Schools of North India by the All India Management Association (AIMA). The institute offers education in five different departments, which are Management, Mass Communication, Commerce, Computer Applications, and Agriculture & Allied Sciences. On the undergraduate level, the institute offers courses such as BA, BSc, BCom, BCA, and BBA. For the postgraduate level, they offer MBA, PGDM, MSc, and MCA. Additionally, they provide an integrated BBA+MBA programme and other extra value-added certificate programmes.

Scholarship

Doon Business School provides financial aid to both undergraduate and postgraduate scholars. The institute has set definite criteria to provide meritorious students with scholarships. 15% of the seats in each program are dedicated to applicants for scholarships. The scholarships are given on a first-come-first-serve basis and applications should be submitted by June 30th. It is advised that the scholarship applications should be sent alongside the admission registration forms. For undergraduate courses, scholarships are given depending on the 12th marks and for postgraduate courses (PGDM/MBA), those who have a valid college entrance exam score and a qualified rank in MAT/CAT/XAT percentile are given scholarships.

Accomodation

DBS provides on-site accommodation for both males and females, where rooms can be shared by two or three students. It offers a large, comfortable mess hall with good seating arrangements and nutritious, hygienic food. Additionally, regular yoga classes and gym sessions are part of the hostel amenities.

The hostel at this school is well-maintained, clean, and hygienic for all students. The school is dedicated to providing a safe, supportive environment for students living in the hostel. It has separate facilities for boys and girls, with shared rooms available for doubles or triples. It also offers facilities such as laundry, Wi-Fi, yoga classes for girls, and a gym for boys. The mess is spacious and equipped with comfortable seating, providing hygienic, nutritious meals. The students can choose the weekly menu, which is followed for meal preparation and service.
