Maharishi University of Information Technology

The Maharishi University of Information Technology (MUIT) was established under MUIT Uttar Pradesh Act No. 31 of 2001 Notification No. 573 dated 06 October, 2001. The University Campus is at PO- Maharishi Nagar Dist. GB Nagar, Sec 110, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The University is reputed to disseminate quality education. His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji was the First Chancellor of the University. MUIT has been recognized and included in the list of the Universities, maintained by the UGC under section 2 (f) of the UGC Act, 1956. The University offers B.Sc. in Animation & Multimedia,  Diploma in Animation, B.Tech in Computer & Data Science, B. Tech in Computer Science & Engineering, P.G. Diploma in Data Science, BB.A LL.B, B.A. LL.B, LL.B, LL.M, BA (J&MC), MA (J&MC), Diploma in Print and Electronic Media, Diploma in New Media, Diploma in Advertising and Public Relations and Ph.D. Courses.

Hostel Facilities

Boy’s hostel: Three story building within the lush green campus. Single, Double, Triple occupancy rooms are available with attached toilets and bathrooms. Facilities of air-conditioners and air-coolers are provided.

Girl’s hostel: A separate hostel for girls within the campus. Single, Double, Triple occupancy rooms are available with attached toilets and bathrooms. Facilities of air-conditioners and air-coolers are provided.

Scholarships

The University shall offer Scholarships to the meritorious candidates based on her/his academic performance in qualifying examination(s) prescribed by the University, viz.,  10+2 or Graduation, Rank/Score in All India/State Level Entrance/ Aptitude Test and candidates possessing exemplary skills in sports, performing arts or literary skills.

• 20% on complete course fee for students passed out from Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools across India.
• 20% on complete course fee for ward of employee of Maharishi Sansthan.
• 10% for all girl students who would take admission with MUIT in any course.
• 20% for any one of the two siblings of the same family taking admission (two Brothers , two sisters , or one brother , one sister).
• 5% on submission of entire course fee at a stretch.
• 5% on submission of hostel fee at one time, full year payment.                
• 10% on complete course for students from sport quota , NCC , NSS , Armed Forces.
• 10% concession to Ex-Army men & Farmer with their specific Proof.

Fee refund

• No fee shall be refunded to the student if he /she has attended any class.
• A Studentmay get fee refund (tuition fee) only within 7 days from the date of admission.
• No fee would be adjusted in the fee of any other relative/ friendsunder any circumstances.
• The deposited fee may be carried forward for next academic session (with proper information within one month from the date of admission) if student admitted is not in a position to carry on his/her studies.

FEE CONCESSION

Conditions Applicable:

• Discounts shall be decided and allocated at the time of registration (and reflected on University’s software).Thereafter no claim shall be entertained.
• Discount/Concession in fee as per Concession policy shall be decided by Hon’bleVice Chancellor/ Registrar.
• Discount/Concession of any kind shall be verified by Director-Admissions.

Note- Concession will be applicable only under single category. University authority may provide discount beyond the above said rules if required.
