Abu Dhabi Polytechnic

ASD is dedicated to providing academic services, tutoring, and eLearning resources to assist students and faculty in achieving institutional and educational objectives and becoming lifelong learners. The institution's general education program is divided into six core areas: natural sciences, mathematics, humanities, English language and communication skills, and fundamentals in engineering technology. The ASD also promotes students' understanding of Arabic language, Islamic culture, and the Emirates' national identity. Additionally, students can enhance their interpersonal and lifelong skills by taking various courses and participating in scholarly and social events. 

The Abu Dhabi Polytechnic library and study hall are well-equipped and have an expanding collection of resources. The Diploma, Advanced Diploma, and Applied Bachelor technical programs are supported by the library's extensive collection of books, periodicals, electronic resources, and online databases that link to full-text publications.

The Abu Dhabi, Polytechnic Abu Dhabi campus, provides a wide range of dining alternatives for students and staff, as well as a wide selection of menus and location choices to suit best each unique lifestyle, schedule, financial situation, and dietary requirement.

Students from different cities are given the chance to live in Abu Dhabi on the main campus there. The Student Support Services section provides students from other cities with furnished housing. The student support services unit is working to install computer facilities in the resident hall.

Students from various cities can live in Al Ain at the Al Ain campus. Those students who travel from other places to enrol at Abu Dhabi Polytechnic can arrange for furnished housing through the Student Support Services Office.

Abu Dhabi Polytechnic offers various scholarships to invite students to study for in the UAE. Abu Dhabi Polytechnic has received scholarships from various providers on different occasions and has been allotted slots. The scholarship opportunities posted at Abu Dhabi Polytechnic are from top scholarship providers.

In 2005, the Institute of Applied Technology (IAT) was established as an independent corporate body through a decree issued by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates and the Ruler of Abu Dhabi. The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, General Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, created IAT as a top-notch Career-Technical Education system. The primary aim behind this initiative was to produce skilled scientists, engineers, and technicians who could contribute to building a knowledge-based economy in the UAE.

To meet the goals set by the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, the IAT utilizes advanced teaching methods and a contemporary curriculum in modern facilities. The primary objective of the IAT is to produce future scientific and professional leaders, which requires constant growth and development of the Institute's facilities and achievements to keep pace with the Emirate's and the nation's changing needs.

Abu Dhabi Polytechnic has two campuses Abu Dhabi Campus (Main Campus) and  Al Ain Campus. The ASD provides a comprehensive range of courses in various subject areas. These include natural sciences, such as physics and chemistry, as well as mathematics, offering precalculus, calculus, and advanced math classes. The curriculum also covers fundamentals in engineering technology, humanities, English language skills, and communication. Additionally, it aims to broaden students' understanding of Arabic language, Islamic culture, and the national identity of the Emirates.
