MBRU does not possess a student hostel of its own, but has made arrangements with a number of private providers to ensure that students have access to the finest prices, services, and standards. The details of these arrangements are updated yearly, and students and guardians are given this information prior to the start of the academic year, along with conditional offers for new students and continuing students. Students and guardians are strongly advised to inspect all possible choices before deciding. Students can identify as MBRU students to receive the benefits bestowed upon them.

• Future Doctors Program: This scholarship is exclusively available for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) students. The program offers up to five scholarships to the top five ranked MBBS applicants eligible for a maximum of 30% off on their annual tuition fees. However, the scholarship is only applicable for one academic year.

• Jood Scholarship Program: If a student in the MBBS program has verified financial needs, they may be eligible for a scholarship of up to 50% of their annual tuition fees. However, their annual GPA must be higher than the minimum GPA required for progression to qualify for this scholarship.

• MBRU Scholarship: MBRU provides scholarships for students enrolling in their Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences program, with a 50% scholarship available for all students. Additionally, a limited number of students in the Ph.D. of Science in Biomedical Sciences program may qualify for a full 100% scholarship.

  Frontliners Scholarship: The Master of Science in Nursing program at MBRU provides a scholarship of 50% for all students.

The university known as Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU) received its name in honor of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who serves as the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, as well as the Ruler of Dubai.

Dubai Healthcare City's first medical university is the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU), which currently has two colleges: the Hamdan Bin Mohammed College of Dental Medicine (HBMCDM) and the College of Medicine (COM). The HBMCDM was established first and provides various dental postgraduate programs, while the COM offers a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program.
