NYU Abu Dhabi has ample facilities for top-notch computational research and education. The university has invested considerable resources in establishing a leading science and engineering research laboratory in the area.

NYUAD offers more than 60 student organizations that offer various opportunities for students to engage in activities outside of their academic pursuits. These groups are classified into different categories such as Academic and Professional, Art, Literature, and Media, Cooking and Food, Culture and Religious, Music and Performance, Outreach and Engagement, Environment and Sustainability, Recreational, Technology, and Sports and Athletics. 

Additionally, NYUAD has a student newspaper called The Gazelle, which was established in 2013 by Alistair Blacklock and Amanda Randone and is published every week.

NYU Abu Dhabi boasts state-of-the-art sports and recreational amenities, such as a 50-meter swimming pool, a performance gymnasium, an indoor track, a fitness center, a climbing wall, squash and racquetball courts, a football pitch and multi-use fields, an outdoor track, and tennis and basketball courts, among others.

Residing on the NYU Abu Dhabi campus is a crucial component of the overall NYUAD experience. The university is dedicated to promoting the complete progress and advancement of each and every student by providing a unified setting for living and learning within our residential community. Every residence suite is equipped with a compact kitchen area that comprises a sink, work space, refrigerator, and microwave. Additionally, each residential college provides a common area where students can socialize and cook meals using a shared kitchen.

NYU Abu Dhabi offers financial aid opportunities to undergraduate applicants who hold UAE nationality or have Emirati mothers. These students can apply for financial aid through the university's Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed NYUAD Scholarship for Exceptional Emirati Students. Additionally, students with UAE nationality may also qualify for a personal support award based on their financial need. NYU's Global Network University includes a portal campus in collaboration with New York University in New York City and New York University Shanghai. Initially, the campus was established in 2008 as a temporary site for hosting cultural events and conferences. Later on, the academic program commenced at the provisional downtown site in September 2010, and in 2014, the permanent campus was constructed on Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi.
