University of Fujairah

UoF Security is responsible for ensuring security in all university areas and parking lots, and enforcing regulations during events and when providing services to external parties. The university offers medical assistance to students during official working hours via its clinic to provide excellent healthcare. Furthermore, the university collaborates with public health authorities and supports health campaigns both within and outside the university.

There is no hostel facility at the University of Fujairah, but you can look for various accommodation facilities near the campus. You can avail of food services in the campus as it is available in the UoF building. These food services are for UoF students, faculty, and staff. To ensure privacy, the University of FUJAIRAH has separate restaurants for male and female students. Both restaurants offer various reasonably priced meals and hot and cold beverages.

UoF has introduced a program for student financial aid to support those in need as part of its efforts to enhance its social responsibility. A voluntary fund has been established to support eligible students financially based on specific rules, regulations, and guidelines. An extensive eligibility evaluation is conducted to determine the level of financial assistance, and applications are reviewed by the Student Affairs and Shared Services Department quarterly. To qualify for the aid, students must have completed 30 credit hours, maintained a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0, and provided proof of their financial situation.

Established in 2006 as Fujairah College with the support of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Muhammad Al Sharqi, the University of Fujairah (UoF) is a top-tier higher education institution dedicated to producing highly qualified graduates in all programs through innovative scientific research. In 2016, Fujairah College was transformed into a university to create a university environment and exceptional educational curriculums to enhance the education process for students. 

The university is licensed by the Ministry of Education and its academic programs are accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation, thanks to a pioneering initiative from the university's founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, His Excellency Saeed bin Mohammed Al Raqbani.

The university presents a range of undergraduate programs, including Business Administration (with concentrations in General, Human Resources Management, Banking, and Finance), Information Technology focused on Networks and Computer Security, Mass Communication with a specialty in Public Relations, Arabic Language and Literature, and Science in Nursing. Additionally, it offers three diploma programs, including a Diploma of Arts in Business Administration, a Diploma of Arts in Information Technology, and a Diploma in Public Relations.
