California State University, Dominguez Hills Carson Campus Scholarships

Scholarships are normally awarded during the spring and summer for the upcoming academic year. During that time, scholarship award notifications will be sent and will include the name and amount of the scholarship. Consideration for additional scholarship awards will continue throughout the academic year.

If you are selected as a recipient of a scholarship, the scholarship will be added to your financial aid offer. Students are assigned a Cost of Attendance (Budget) based on their housing plans and degree plan (undergraduate, credential, graduate). If necessary, the Financial Aid Office will reduce self-help aid, like loans, when the student has been offered the maximum possible in all forms of financial aid (grants and loans).

The Financial Aid Office notifies Student Financial Services of the scholarship payment, which will be applied to your student account. If you do not owe a balance for the semester, then a refund will be issued either by direct deposit or you will be mailed a paper check. Release of scholarships funds begins the week before the semester begins.

This is a fantastic institution.

The professors and staff are friendly and helpful, and there is a strong sense of community on campus. Teachers and staff genuinely care about their pupils, and they go out of their way to ensure that students and staff alike feel involved and that a sense of community and belonging exists. Students can also seek assistance from faculty members for projects, workshops, and office hours. The student-to-faculty ratio is modest, allowing you to get to know all of your professors. Students are pushed to learn about the industry in class.

Affordable housing

The university offers a safe, calm environment with excellent academics. It's been a wonderful experience with amazing teachers. Every type of student can benefit from the university's resources. Professors are patient and constantly eager to assist their students. There are plenty of calm locations where you can study or work. In comparison to most other colleges, they have a big campus. They have a variety of work-study programs as well as internships. They also offer a number of clubs that meet at various times throughout the day. They could do better if they had some more affordable housing options.

Amazing Expereince

It was really a good experience in terms of academics, sports and campus life. The faculties are very helpful and the campus is well maintained and is good for study and sports. The campus was surrounded by beautiful natural land which was good for picnics and another add-on. There were plenty of students’ activities organized by the college and the students are encouraged to participate and to be a part of this activity. The campus was also centrally located so it was very easy to go shopping, beach and leisure activities there. The campus life is also good. There are plenty of clubs and student activities organized by the college. Most of the clubs are focused on exploring the inner talent of students. I had a very good time in college.
