About Susquehanna University
Susquehanna University is a private university located in the Susquehanna River Valley in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. We began as The Missionary Institute of the Evangelical Lutheran Church on September 1, 1858, and became Susquehanna University in 1895.
At Susquehanna, we educate students for productive, creative, and reflective lives of achievement, leadership, and service in a diverse, dynamic and interdependent world. You’ll choose from more than 100 majors and minors, as well as pre-professional programs and an interdisciplinary honors program across our four schools.

Living and learning happens day and night — much of it in and around our residential housing communities.
Check out the types of housing available to different class years below. Whether in traditional residence halls, suites, townhouses or on-campus apartments, you’ll find it easy to make yourself at home. All halls have Wifi and cable in the lounges and are within walking distance of our academic buildings.
We are a four-year residential campus. You’ll live on campus all four years — moving to independent living in on-campus suites and apartments during your final two years.

Admissions Requirements
The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to Susquehanna University
- International students are considered on a case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
- Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
- Financial support statement (original bank statement and sponsor letter).
- Passport identification page with machine-readable code visible
- Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
- You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country.
