Canadian Tourism College, established in 1980,  is a private institute providing travel, tourism, and hospitality training programs in Vancouver, British Columbia. Accredited by the Private Career Training Institutions Agency (PCTIA) of British Columbia, the college is also the recipient of the Education Quality Assurance (EQA).  

Students from all around the world are welcome at Canadian Tourism College. Every year, more than 150,000 international students come to Canada to study because of the country's diversity, multicultural environment, and natural beauty. Campuses of the Canadian Tourism College can be found in Vancouver and Surrey. The Vancouver campus is located in the middle of downtown, close to public transportation, shops, and some of the world's top restaurants. The Surrey location is convenient to all of the amenities that students require.

The college offers numerous programs ranging from travel and tourism management, resort business management to flight attendant. The certificate and diploma programs at the college have co-op opportunities allowing students to work in the field or industry while they study.

Although the Canadian Tourism College does not provide housing for its students on campus, it can direct them to companies that specialize in providing homestay placements for both domestic and international students.

Students can find options for single, shared apartments and rooms or homestays in Vancouver. The facilities come with or without a meal plan. Homestays offer a more homely atmosphere, whereas single or shared apartments give students room for independence. Both these types of accommodations undergo criminal checks and mostly require the student to get in an agreement with the host.   


The Canadian Tourism College offers a range of scholarships to international students studying in Canada. Depending on the high school attended, the scholarship value ranges from $500 to $10,000 CAD per year.

Canadian Tourism College - Vancouver Campus is subject to certain requirements and the eligibility requirements vary as per the program a student applies to.

  • The student should be 18 years of age before taking admission.
  • The student must have taken either TOEFL, IELTS, PTE or an equivalent English language proficiency exam.
  • The applicant is required to submit their original transcripts (translated, if not in English) from all the academic institutions they have attended.
