About EduCo - Arbutus College - Vancouver Campus

Established in 2002, Arbutus college has been enabling students to follow their passion and kick-start their careers. It is a certified designated private training institution by British Columbia’s Private Training Institution Branch of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills and Training.

The college offers multiple specialized programs in business management, hospitality management, international trade, and marketing. Programs at Arbutus come with co-op options, where students get placed in professional environments while they learn.    

Located in Vancouver, it enjoys being amidst the throbbing culture of the city with its vibrant life full of art, food, music and films.

Services and Facilities

Arbutus College provides students many chances to express themselves, showcase their talents and learn beyond their program through talks and forums, workshops, trade shows and fairs and social and cultural functions. They complement academic curriculums well and help foster friendships among participants. Students gain networks by being part of such events.


A range of off-campus housing facilities can be opted for within the student budget in the city of Vancouver.  

Homestays – Private furnished rooms are provided by the host families who may provide meals with their accommodation. Students can get help for matching and selecting homestays from the college.

Shared Renting – Sharing rented space suits the students’ pocket. Such apartments usually come with a kitchen, bathroom, toilet and bedroom. The college can help students find them. 


Arbutus College offers skill-based training, diplomas, and certificate programs; there are only a few financial assistance available for students. Financial Aid is available in the form of government loans, and an opportunity to work part-time.

While applying to the Arbutus College, students should keep in mind some standard eligibility criteria.

  • The student should be 18 years of age before taking admission.
  • The student must have taken either TOEFL, IELTS, PTE or an equivalent English language proficiency exam.
  • The student is required to submit their original transcripts from all the academic institutions they have attended. (If the transcripts are not in English, translated copies must be submitted along with the original ones.)
