Navitas Fraser International College helps students make a smooth transition to Simon Fraser University.

Fraser International College is located on the campus of Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, British Columbia. High- quality education at Fraser International College enables students to reach their highest potential.

The undergraduate transfer pathway programs at the institute are offered in areas of arts and social sciences, business administration, communication, art and technology, communication and business, computing science, engineering science, environment, health sciences, and sciences like data science, experimental science, life sciences, general science and mathematics. Programs at the college are designed to support students with a direct pathway into the second year at a university. Each program area provides a supportive environment with small class sizes, diverse course options and volunteering opportunities.

Services and Facilities

The college organizes immersive sessions through events and workshops for Navitas students and also has multiple volunteering opportunities to improve social skills while contributing to the community.

Accommodation

Students at FIC may opt for housing at the Simon Fraser University at Burnaby Campus. The residence has single rooms with beds, high-speed internet access and common rooms with television and microwave. Students can also opt for meal plans and access to dining hall. The residence has an adjacent hotel for visiting parents to stay.

Students can access buses and rapid transit. Living in residence means being a part of movie nights, barbeque nights, ’rez’ challenges, and other regular fun activities.

Off-campus private rentals and shared accommodations are available close to the campus. The institute provides listings for all such options.

Students can also opt for homestays where they live with a local Canadian family and participate in family activities and occasions.

Admissions

 

Admission to Navitas - Fraser International College is subject to certain requirements and the eligibility requirements vary as per the program a student applies to.

  • The student should be 18 years of age.
  • The student must have taken either PTE, TOEFL, IELTS or an equivalent English language proficiency exam.
  • The applicant is required to submit their original transcripts from all the academic institutions they have attended (translated copies must be submitted too, if the original document(s) are not in English)
