UNSW’s Bachelor of Commerce/Arts is a double degree that will equip you with business experience and expertise, combined with the creativity, analytical and critical thinking skills that come with an arts degree. Both degrees offer flexibility, allowing you to shape your degree to match your ambitions and interests.

The Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) has been designed with consultation from industry to set you up for lifelong employability. By combining your BCom with a Bachelor of Arts, you can choose from a diverse range of majors and subjects in the arts, humanities and social sciences. You'll develop an in-depth knowledge and breadth of understanding, gaining the tools to think critically, communicate effectively and conduct independent research.

Food scientists study the properties of food and ingredients to ensure their safe use and consumption. The Food Science (Honours) degree is designed to provide you with a solid background in mathematics, natural and applied sciences to equip you for a career in a variety of professions.

You'll have the opportunity to apply yourself to food product design and enquiry projects, professional food practice, food systems management, research towards your thesis project.

The four-year Food Science degree is offered in two disciplines: Food Science and Technology and Food Science and Nutrition

The Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree allows high-performing students to deepen their knowledge of approaches, perspectives and traditions in their chosen scientific discipline and undertake a significant research project.

There are 29 specialisations available covering a wide and diverse range of disciplines, from biology, chemistry and physics to aviation, geology and statistics. As a result of the variety of options that can be chosen across the Faculty, the proportion of research-based work and coursework will differ by School.

In addition to conducting research and coursework, you will generally also be expected to attend and present seminars, write a literature review write a thesis and undertake Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) training. This degree also provides an academic foundation for you to continue on to a masters by research or a PhD.

Economics is an influential social science which explores how society can best use finite resources - like time, money and effort. The AGSM Master of Business Administration (Executive), is a part-time national program designed for ambitious and experienced managers, executives, and professionals eager to take their career to the next level. It is designed to build strategy and leadership skills while providing a thorough grounding in core business disciplines. The MBAE is a flexible program that lets you pursue a professional interest area in dynamic study modes including weekly, intensive, and online classes.

This program is unique in its focus on intensive and residential cohort experiences that provide extensive opportunities for group learning and developing peer professional networks. AGSM MBAE  courses are designed by academics and delivered and facilitated by industry experts. The national program runs classes in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, and Perth, allowing students to stay on top of their study when they are travelling interstate for work. The UNSW Bachelor of Commerce/Media is a double-degree that can be completed in 4 years full-time, or the part-time equivalent.

Medical science is the foundation that the practice of medicine is built on. This degree delves into how the human body functions and responds to disease and drug treatments. It incorporates facets of several scientific disciplines to provide you with an extensive understanding of the human body.

• This degree provides the basis for a career in biomedical research and is also an appropriate first degree if you’re planning to progress to graduate medical or paramedical degrees.

Medical Pharmacology

Explore the effect that drugs have on living tissues and the normal body functions of humans. This major looks at the efficacy of drugs, the ability of the body to metabolise them and the toxicology/side effects of drugs. Professional positions for pharmacologists often occur in the pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries in the testing and research of drugs as well as in administration and management.
