The Master of Global Health (Extension)/Master of Health Leadership and Management double degree is an innovative approach to postgraduate health education, enabling you to specialise in both global health and health management and complete a research project in global health. This double degree meets a well-recognised need to strengthen public health, health leadership and health management capacities within resource-constrained settings in international and global contexts.

We will equip you with specialised professional knowledge and skills to work internationally in health departments, with non-government organisations (NGOs), and with international and bilateral aid agencies. You will gain sophisticated knowledge and skills in public health and health management that can be applied to a broad range of highly complex population health issues in international settings.

This double degree combines the professional Bachelor of Laws with the Bachelor of Media to give you a unique understanding of how these two industries can influence, persuade and create important lasting change. The combination develops communications leaders who inspire innovation and adhere to the highest ethical standards.

Through your studies in media, you’ll be equipped with the expertise to make a difference in the exciting, challenging, and constantly evolving field of media. The Master of Public Health (Extension)/Master of Health Leadership and Management will enable you to specialise in both public health and health management, allowing you to develop research skills in public health. This double degree will give you advanced disciplinary knowledge and skills to undertake population health and health services management roles in government, community and health service settings in Australia and internationally.

You will gain a deep understanding of public health and health management, including epidemiology, biostatistics, social determinants of health, health promotion, population-targeted health research methods, leadership and workforce management. You'll also acquire specialised skills needed for health management research and evidence-based professional practice and leadership across a range of contexts.

Mathematics, statistics and computing skills are essential to advanced financial and commercial modelling, making Advanced Mathematics a natural complement to Commerce. The Bachelor of Science (Advanced Mathematics) (Honours) prepares you for the increasing range of quantitative careers in areas such as finance and technology, while UNSW's Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) is an innovative business degree, designed alongside industry to ensure you are one of Australia's most employable graduates.

This five-year degree allows you to build a foundational understanding of business essentials. Specialise in one of 12 Commerce majors such as Finance, Business Analytics or Economics, gain industry experience, and build a professional portfolio.  Alongside this, you'll undertake advanced coursework with an honours level research project in your chosen Mathematics specialisation.

UNSW’s Bachelor of Commerce/Arts is a double degree that will equip you with business experience and expertise, combined with the creativity, analytical and critical thinking skills that come with an arts degree. Economics is an influential social science which explores how society can best use finite resources - like time, money and effort. The Psychological Science/Law double degree is a five-year program (full-time) and provides an opportunity to obtain two degrees suited to law students who also have an interest in the study of psychology.

The Law degree aims to develop graduates who have excellent analytical skills, a capacity for scholarly research, effective oral and written communication skills, and a commitment to personal and professional development, ethical practice and social responsibility.

The Law courses satisfy the requirements for the award of the professional LLB degree, while the Psychological Science component allows students to complete an accredited Psychology degree, with the option to apply for an additional Honours year in Psychology.

Computational Design (Major)

When you study Computational Design at UNSW, you’ll learn to approach challenges differently through design-thinking. You’ll gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies, including 3D modelling, digital geometry and parametric design, responsive environments, AR and VR, and robotic and digital fabrication using 3D printers and laser cutters.

Through design thinking and computational design theory, you’ll hone critical-thinking and communication skills to create inclusive designs for diverse contexts. As part of our supportive Arts, Design & Architecture community, you’ll be encouraged to collaborate across disciplines, gain professional experience, and take advantage of programs that support entrepreneurship and innovation. You’ll have the opportunity to work on real-life projects set by UNSW’s partners in the built-environment, architecture and design industries such as Cox, Arup, Hassell, BVN, Bates Smart, PTW Architects, Grimshaw, Mott McDonald, and Aurecon.
