About Camosun College - Interurban Campus

Established in 1971, Camosun College is a community college located in British Columbia, Canada. It has two campuses, one in Lansdowne and the other in Interurban. Camosun College provides students with opportunities to study in multiple areas of study. Such areas include mathematics, computer programming, nautical training, science and technology, sports and health and human services along with other advanced courses. It is affiliated with the CIC (Colleges and Institutes Canada), CCAA (Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association), as well as several other associations.

Services and Facilities

The Interurban campus has a set of multipurpose buildings and has well-stocked libraries, ATMs, and parking facilities. It also has coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance, and classrooms are equipped with multimedia projectors and audiovisual equipment. On top of it, Victoria in itself is a beautiful city that has multiple exciting things to offer. It boasts of its Craigdarroch Castle mansion, Victorian architecture, the Butchart Gardens and a lot more. 


Multiple off-campus accommodation options are available for students around the campus. They can choose anything between apartments, condos, basements or rooms in a shared house. In addition, students can opt for homestays. Homestays offer a wonderful chance to experience Canada’s diverse culture and the possibility of meeting open-minded locals, especially when staying with a family. Camosun International has several qualified hosts available, who will ensure students feel at home in their homestay accommodations throughout the duration of their stay.


College offers multiple scholarships to international students, the Camosun International Academic Advancement Scholarship is one among them. It is a means-tested award and is open to international students on a full-time academic program at Camosun College.

The college has a huge alumni base of around 65,000 alumni. Some of the most notable personalities include Director of Deeley Research Centre Dr. Brad Nelson, MLA of Victoria-Swan Lake Rob Fleming and artist and storyteller Arthur Vickers.

Admission to Camosun College - Interurban Campus is subject to certain requirements and the eligibility requirements vary as per the program a student applies to. However, there are certain requirements that every student must keep in mind before applying to the college:

  • Student should be at least 18 years old before taking admission
  • Student should be proficient in English and must have taken IELTS, TOEFL, PTE or other equivalent exams
  • Students are required to submit their original transcripts from all the academic institutions they have attended.
