Canadore College attracts students from 15 different nations. It provides over 80 courses in a variety of subjects, including aviation, health, business management, law and justice, and many others. Ontario has a system in place to assess colleges based on how effectively they satisfy the objectives of both students and industry. Canadore has one of Ontario's highest graduation rates and a 76 percent graduate employment rate, a 100 percent employee satisfaction rate, and a 79 percent student happiness rate, all of which are greater than the average numbers for all Ontario colleges. To aid students with placement, the college offers its own job portal. 5600 students are enrolled on the campus at the same time.

More than 65 full-time post-secondary programmes are available at Canadore College, with a focus on aviation technology, business and management, community justice and police studies, culinary arts, environmental studies and biotechnology, health, human care and wellness, indigenous studies, language, access and preparatory studies, media, design and dramatic arts, sport and recreation, and trades and technology. In addition, part-time studies in business, general interest, geographic information systems, health sciences, hospitality, information technology, languages, law and justice, preparatory studies, recreation and leisure services, trades and technology, and transportation are available in the traditional classrooms and/or online.

Services and Facilities

Volleyball, soccer, ice hockey, and even cricket are all options for students. Canadore exemplifies Canada's rich sporting culture. Various events and workshops are conducted to provide a wholesome learning experience at the college.


Students can find a variety of housing options in the nearby locations in forms like rented rooms, Suites, highrise or walk-up apartments, and shared accommodations.

While applying to the college students should meet some standard eligibility criteria:

  • The minimum age for application is 18 years at the time of beginning the course. 
  • Students coming from non-English speaking countries must take TOEFL, PTE, IELTS or other equivalent exams to prove their language proficiency.
  • Students need to provide original transcripts from all the academic institutions before making any application request (If the original transcripts are not in English, students need to submit the translated copies of the same with each original document).
