About Langara College
Established in 1965, Langara College is located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. At first, there were a few classes offered at King Edward Centre as part of Vancouver City College. Later on, Langara College was founded under the Provincial colleges and Institutions act as a public and independent institution on April 1, 1994, by the government of British Columbia. It has two campuses, one in 49th Avenue, Vancouver and the other in West Broadway, Vancouver. In addition to this, it offers multiple programs in Creative Writing, Art History, Digital and Print Publishing, General Education, General Arts, General Arts and Science, Web and Mobile App Design and Development, Film Arts, Professional Photography, Design Formation, English etc.
Services and Facilities
The college campus is beautifully built over large areas with 8 major buildings that are filled with state-of-the-art technology. A library, gymnasium, studio, cafeteria, bookstore, daycare, labs, recreational and athletic facilities, everything is available at the campus. Besides, the campus classrooms on campus are spacious and well-equipped with a lot of conveniences like computer systems, fast internet connectivity, etc. to provide quality education.
The college runs various clubs and organizations to provide students with a variety of entertainment options. Students who want to get involved can join the following clubs and organizations: Art Club, Arts and Media Club, Cultural Clubs, Sports and Recreational Club and Special Interest Clubs.
Accommodation
Langara College does not have any on-campus accommodation facilities for students, but the college does offer a program that puts students with local families as homestays and another program that acts as a third party to find off-campus accommodations.

Admission to Langara College is subject to certain requirements and the eligibility requirements vary as per the program a student applies to. However, there are certain requirements that every student must keep in mind before applying to the college:
