Sprott Shaw College is one of British Columbia's oldest post-secondary schools, having been established in 1903. Sprott Shaw College is well known for equipping its students with innovative ways of thinking across its accredited campus locations. Over 130 career-focused college programs, monthly start dates, flexible scheduling, and career placement aid are available at the college.
Sprott Shaw College offers programs accredited by regulatory bodies throughout BC, including CDSBC, FITT, the BC Care Aide & Community Health Workers Registry, and more.
The Nanaimo campus, which is bordered by a picturesque mountain backdrop and minutes away from the popular Nanaimo Seawalk and Swy-a-Lana Lagoon, is located in Downtown Nanaimo on the lovely Vancouver Island.
Services and Facilities
The co-op program at Sprott Shaw allows students to put their classroom abilities and knowledge into practice through a program-related work experience opportunity. Co-op students enjoy an advantage when they graduate and enter the workforce.

Accommodation
The college makes students feel at home in one of their elegantly appointed luxury furnished apartment suites. Glass showers and soaking tubs are standard in student flats, which start at two bedrooms and 800 square feet. A weight room, a sitting lounge with a big balcony, weekly common area housekeeping, and protected subterranean parking are all available to guests.

Admission to Sprott Shaw College - Nanaimo College Campus is dependent on meeting certain criteria, which vary depending on the program to which a student applies.
