Trinity Western University (TWU) was founded in 1962 by a group of dedicated people with a unique vision. Since then, it has evolved to become Canada's top Christian university and the country's largest liberal arts university.

Everything the university does is motivated by a desire to provide a holistic education that develops godly Christian leaders who will discover and fulfil their calling in life and use their future careers to make a lasting positive difference in the world.

TWU Richmond, located in the centre of the city, offers programs geared toward an urban and international audience in Richmond and Metro Vancouver.

Services and Facilities

Trinity Western University's high-quality, values-based education has arrived in Richmond. Students enrolled in TWU's bachelor and master's degree programmes will benefit from the large, modern spaces. Students can pick from a range of delivery models thanks to TWU's innovative education delivery modules.

Student Life at Richmond offers students the chance to join student clubs, as well as wellness and counselling services, along with a variety of ways to get engaged in the community.


University accommodation's objective is to provide attractive, safe, secure, pleasant, and reasonable housing that promotes the growth of godly Christian leaders. Some of the housing options available are:

Students can choose from a variety of off-campus housing options in the surrounding locations. Studio flats, paid guest facilities, shared housing complexes, and other options are available to students.


Trinity Western University offers merit and need-based financial aid. Approximately 97 percent of students receive financial aid in some form. These scholarships recognize students' academic achievements as well as their contributions to the Trinity Western community.

Admission to Trinity Western University - Richmond Campus is dependent on meeting certain criteria, which vary depending on the program to which a student applies. 

  • Student should be at least 18 years before taking admission
  • Student should be proficient in English and must have taken IELTS, TOEFL, PTE or other equivalent exams
  • Students are required to submit their original transcripts from all the academic institutions they have attended. If the transcripts are not in English, then students need to submit translated copies of the same along with the originals.
