About University of Northern British Columbia South Central Campus

University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) was established in 1990 with a vision of providing high-quality education to students all across the globe. It is an open research institution associated with the Association of Commonwealth Universities, U Sports, the University of the Arctic, Universities Canada and the International Association of Universities. It ranks high in terms of the best smallest universities in the country and mainly focuses on cultural studies, science, economic studies and environmental studies.  

It offers a range of certificate, diploma, doctoral, postgraduate and undergraduate programs. The undergraduate programs are available in subjects such as applied sciences, social work, commerce, health sciences, arts and nursing. The postgraduate programs range from domains such as health science, management, history, business, International Studies, and Integrated Wood Design.

The university campus has gained much fame because of its state-of-the-art facilities in architecture. Some notable buildings on the campus include the WIDC, which was created by Michael Green Architect and happens to be a center of learning and research on woods. The college has received recognition internationally for being a green and clean facility in the city. Many young students have been able to study here thanks to this environmentally-friendly school as it provided them with a dormitory when they arrived to stay with their professors throughout their student lives. Also, the campus has a beautiful research laboratory building, health science building, library and residence hall. 

In addition to this, the university library boasts an extensive collection of journals, research papers, books and magazines. Students can also access the electronic resources available at the library. They experience a calm learning environment. Many cafes, restaurants and other food places are set close to the campus. The university is close to medical shops, stationery shops and general stores as well. Public transport is easily available from the campus.

The Residence buildings can accommodate students of all ages ranging from incoming freshmen to a veteran returning students to even those post-graduate masters program scholars.

Admission to the University of Northern British Columbia - South-Central Campus is subject to certain requirements, and the eligibility requirements vary as per the program a student applies to. However, there are certain requirements that every student must keep in mind before applying to the college:
