About Focus College - Surrey Campus
Focus College originally opened its doors in 1992. It was motivated by a desire to help the community and provide them with the practical skills they require to establish a secure and rewarding career. Focus College now offers students internationally recognized, cutting-edge, employment-focused training in Business, IT, and Travel & Tourism that is relevant to the world.
The Surrey location is centrally located for easy access to all of the area's attractions. Surrey is ideal for both city dwellers and nature enthusiasts.
Focus College saw a need in Canada for a standardized and internationally recognized post-secondary education. Focus College and UFV have developed a unique partnership to provide students with a clear path to achieve their academic goals. This pathway will allow successful graduates of Focus College's Advanced Certificate in Business program to continue their studies at UFV by enrolling in the General Studies Diploma programme.

Students paddle a kayak in the Pacific Ocean, swim in freshwater lakes, or hike or bike across the harsh mountains. Students take a quick trip into the busy metropolis of Vancouver to get their big city fixed. Graduates have access to a plethora of opportunities thanks to the approximately 18,000 registered enterprises
Students can choose from a variety of off-campus housing alternatives in the surrounding locations. Studio flats, paid guest facilities, shared housing complexes, and other options are available to students.
The college awards a few scholarships to students who are financially challenged, have a strong academic record and have been active in the community. Scholarship recipients are chosen based on the following three criteria:

Admission to Focus College - Surrey Campus is dependent on meeting certain criteria, which vary depending on the program to which a student applies.
- Student should be at least 18 years before taking admission
- Student should be proficient in English and must have taken IELTS, TOEFL, PTE or other equivalent exams
- Students are required to submit their original transcripts from all the academic institutions they have attended. If the transcripts are not in English, then students need to submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
