Georgian College Design and Digital Arts Centre (Downtown Barrie location)

Georgian College is a well-known and prestigious public college in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. It was formed in 1967 and is one of the largest government-funded colleges for applied art and technology. Georgian College has over 13,000 full-time students on seven campuses: Barrie, Downtown Barrie location (Arch and Helen Brown Design and Digital Arts Centre), Midland, Muskoka (Bracebridge), Orangeville, Orillia, Owen Sound, South Georgian Bay (Collingwood), with 3,600 international students from 85 countries. 

The Arch and Helen Brown Design and Digital Arts Centre is situated in downtown Barrie, just a short distance from the waterfront. Students will have the opportunity to learn in state-of-the-art studios that are equipped with industry-standard tools. Additionally, they will have the chance to network with professionals in their field and work with actual clients.

Georgian College provides students with a diverse learning environment with a wide range of co-op learning options. Georgian College provides a wide range of career-focused programs in diverse fields and disciplines across multiple campuses. The Georgian College downtown Barrie campus provides approximately four programs in Digital Content Creation and Strategy, Graphic Design, Graphic Design Production, and Project Management. The programs available include certificates, diplomas, degrees, graduate certificates, combined degree-diploma programs with Lakehead University, continuing education and workforce development options, academic upgrading and career preparation, as well as apprenticeship and skills training opportunities.
