Located in Lachine, one of the most historical and scenic Burroughs of Montreal, the Pearson Electrotechnology Centre is a professional career centre. It opened its doors in 2007 and since then it has been establishing itself as a leader in technical training. The institution has top-notch faculty and devoted support staff. Besides, it has close tie-ups with the industry that helps students in learning what is currently being practised in the industry. Institutions provide vast opportunities to prepare themselves for a highly-demanding technical environment. It offers a range of programs in multiple domains including installation and repair of telecommunications equipment, computer support & networks, electricity, private security guarding and interior decorating and visual display. 

Services and Facilities 

The campus is home to state-of-the-art facilities, labs and workshops to equip students with the proper tools they need to succeed in their occupations. Modern classrooms have interactive whiteboards and computers equipped with the latest technology. Dedicated computer labs are also available within the degree program sections for students. Furthermore, the campus has created an active learning space for students that utilizes multiple mobile devices and smart screens so that students can tap into the most current technology available today.

The centre houses a telecommunications museum that showcases Canada's telecommunications history from cell phones to switchboards. The museum offers students opportunities to explore history and appreciate the progress made throughout the years.


Students can find accommodation in various flats, households and housing complexes near their college. These include shared rooms such as those provided by hostels, host families and student residences while living in rented properties is just as common. Students can be housemates with other students and even share the workload around the household which brings a greater sense of belonging to the process.


Students can obtain a scholarship from the Canadian government or from several private institutions. These scholarships have different requirements; students will have to carefully read the descriptions of each scholarship.

Admission to Lester B. Pearson School Board - Pearson Electrotechnology Centre is subject to certain requirements and the eligibility requirements vary as per the program a student applies to. However, there are certain requirements that every student must keep in mind before applying to the college:
