About Loyalist College - Victoria Park Campus (Toronto)

Loyalist College first opened its doors in a nearby high school in 1967, and by 1968, it had secured a permanent location on Wallbridge-Loyalist Road. The Lennox and Addington Wing, which houses the School of Technology and Retraining, was built two years later in response to a desire for more space and innovative teaching.

By 1985, the facility and College curriculum had been expanded to include new programs including photojournalism, television broadcasting, and health sciences, as well as a key partnership with the Tyendinaga First Nations Technical Institute. Loyalist College is known for its strong, pioneering presence, community resolve, tenacity, and forward-thinking leaders, much like its namesake.
