Mohawk College of Applied Arts and Technology was established in 1966 as a public higher education school in Hamilton, Ontario. It is accredited and sponsored by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities and is a member of the Association of Community Colleges of Canada (ACCC).

Admission to Mohawk College Mississauga Campus depends on meeting specific criteria, which vary depending on the program a student applies to.

Amazing Infrastructure

Mohawk College was a very good experience for me.

Although it is located close to the city too much like every other college, the great thing about it is that I learnt a lot there. The staff is very nice and helpful as well as the professors. The food is also good. Since it is a small college, it is easily accessible and is a great place for those who do not prefer the big crowded colleges. It is a very good choice for those who wish to study a trade or a diploma.

Home away from home

Mohawk College has always felt like my home away from home. I had the best experience at the college all because of my dedicated professors and welcoming friends and classmates. Everyone is always friendly on-campus and you feel a sense of belonging. The staff is very helpful and the teachers do all they can to help students succeed. The College offered additional learning advice and support to help me learn and achieve my chosen career. Mental health counselling facilities are offered at the college to support students in resolving their difficulties and succeeding in their studies. It was really fun to be on campus with amazing friends and so many engaging activities. Career counselling is used to help students make better career decisions.

Learning at Mohawk was wonderful. It was a relaxed environment that helped me concentrate on the curriculum. The teachers helped us gain insights into the subjects and provided extra support as well. It was great to have the kind group of people around we had in the college. We learnt the practical aspects of the curriculum with the latest equipment. Extra-curricular activities were held quite often and it was fun taking part in them. The program was job-oriented and worked well in getting me an opportunity.
