About Okanagan College - Penticton Campus
Okanagan College, founded in 1963, is a public post-secondary college with four main campuses in Kelowna, Penticton, Salmon Arm, and Vernon, British Columbia. The College serves about 20,500 students each year and is the province's second-largest technical training institution. The Penticton campus, with its lively and energetic learning environment, is the ideal place for students to form lifelong friendships and find their way to success.
Okanagan College offers a variety of apprenticeship, trade, vocational, continuing education, and academic programmes. In addition to university science and arts, Okanagan offers programmes in health, technology, and adult basic and special education. English as a Second Language Training, four-year degree programmes in computer information and business, and vocational programs have all piqued the interest of international students. Courses in literature, chemistry, physics, history, psychology, biology, and gender studies are available through the college's Transfer Program.
Services & Facilities
Students can enjoy a variety of four-season outdoor activities in the region, including kayaking and paddleboarding on Okanagan Lake and Skaha Lake, as well as skiing and snowboarding at Apex Mountain, which is only minutes away.
Because of their enthusiasm for teaching and the opportunity to form personal bonds with students, world-class professors select the Penticton campus as their home. Throughout the region, many professors are engaged in research and contributing to community-based projects, mixing classroom lectures with innovation and best practices that prepare students for success. Students will be challenged and inspired by real-world assignments in science labs, trade shops, and clinics.
There is no on-campus student housing on the Penticton campus; however, there are various community resources for students looking for housing in the South Okanagan area. Okanagan College compiles a list of rental listings for students as a service to them.

Admission to Okanagan College - Penticton Campus is dependent on meeting certain criteria, which vary depending on the program to which a student applies.
