Okanagan College Vernon Campus

Okanagan College is a public post-secondary college located in Kelowna, Penticton, Salmon Arm, and Vernon, British Columbia. The college serves about 19,000 students each year and is the province's second-largest technical training institute. It provides over 120 diploma, degree, and certificate programs, as well as university transfer and continuing education courses.

Okanagan College has four primary campuses, the first being in Kelowna, situated on Okanagan Lake in the Okanagan Valley. Next campus is in Penticton, which is nestled between the Skaha and Okanagan lakes. The third campus is located in Vernon, British Columbia, and is named for former MLA Forbes George Vernon. The last site is at Salmon Arm, which is a popular tourist destination during the summer.

Okanagan College provides more than 120 programs annually, encompassing a diverse range of options such as bachelor's degrees, diplomas, trades, vocational training, and corporate training. These programs cover a wide array of fields including arts, science, business administration, food and wine, tourism, health and social development, trades, and apprenticeship.

There are a vast number of student services available at the Vernon Campus, including aboriginal services, accessibility services, bookstores, counseling services, education advising, health and safety, IT helpdesk, learning and success centres, library, parking, security, student, graduate and co-op employment, testing centre and more.

On-campus educational amenities provide students with a relaxing environment, allowing them to concentrate on their studies. The Student Success Centre encourages supportive learning by offering free tutoring. The Aboriginal Services Centre helps students connect with important resources. 

The college also has a Spa Training Centre where students can book an appointment for a more relaxed experience, where aesthetics students offer amazing manicures, pedicures, facials, and massages. Students interested in writing and design can work in a fully functional letterpress print shop as part of the Writing & Publishing curriculum and Kalamalka Press publication.
