Chinese and International Business and Economic Law 

International business and economic law has become an integral element of globalisation. It provides the fundamental framework for regulating cross-border activities ranging from trade, investment and finance to treaty negotiations, rulemaking and dispute resolution. As one of the world's largest economies, China is now among the most influential players in using and shaping the international economic law order.  

In this Master of Laws specialisation, you'll acquire advanced knowledge and analytical ability across a broad spectrum of contemporary issues such as:

• The development of international trade and investment rules and policy
• The settlement of trade and investment disputes
• Technological developments and regulation (such as the regulation of digital financial services and e-commerce). 

When you undertake this double degree you’ll graduate with two separate degrees that provide a diverse but complementary knowledge and skill-base.

The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) component of this degree will give you a broad education in engineering so you can envision the different ways computer science can improve various engineering disciplines. Engineers develop practical solutions to technical and environmental problems by using science and mathematics. Through scientific discoveries engineers meet societal and consumer needs.

Through the Bachelor of Engineering you’ll gain a solid background in mathematics, natural sciences and computing that’ll prepare you to learn knowledge and skills in an engineering discipline. Computer Science is the study of the design, construction and use of computer systems. As a computer scientist you’ll use and create technology to solve problems and improve interactions between people and computers.

The Computer Science component emphasises comprehension of the basic principles behind computing tools, operating systems, compilers and translators, and computer hardware. You’ll study the representation of data and data structures and the design of algorithms, as well as the creation of hardware and software tools and the role of non-computing elements in the design and development process.

The Master of Public Health (Extension)/Master of Health Leadership and Management will enable you to specialise in both public health and health management, allowing you to develop research skills in public health. Quantum Engineers specialise in how high-frequency, nanometer-scale electronics can be made to harness quantum nature. When you study Quantum Engineering at UNSW, you'll develop the skillset required for the next generation of microelectronics, microwave and telecommunications engineers.
