This dynamic course gives you the sound knowledgeable and placement experiences to become a skilled, contemporary Physiotherapist. Covering anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, biomechanics, Physiotherapy practice and electrotherapy, the course hones your skills and provides opportunities for you to work with other healthcare professionals. You will carry out a two-week practice placement in Semester A and a four-week placement at the end of the first year in Semester C.  During the second year there are two, five-week practice placements and in the final year you will carry out three, five-week practice placements By adding an additional short course to your degree, you can gain level 2 and 3 qualifications with PD:Approval and gain entry to the Register of Exercise Professionals, boosting your employability.

If you are planning to specialise in the financial sector, the LLM International Financial Law is the perfect course for you! Combining two compulsory modules and two optional modules, the course offers everything you need for a solid foundation on which to build your career.

The Banking Law module will give you an understanding of the role of banks in our economy, and the relevant regulatory schemes. You will also study the banker–customer relationship, the impact of new electronic payment systems, developments within money laundering regulations and the issue of bank resolution in the light of the global financial crisis.

In the International Financial Law module you will examine financial law and approaches to key aspects of it, the regulation and supervision of financial institutions, international financial architecture, the role of credit rating agencies, and the nature of key debt and financial instruments, including International Bonds and Syndicated Loan Agreements.

These two compulsory modules are assessed via written coursework, and a practical assessment – a group presentation – also forms part of the International Financial Law module. You will supplement these modules with two optional modules from the wide range that the course has to offer.

This course covers the three main disciplines of sport science: physiology (including nutrition), biomechanics and psychology. You’ll gain a fundamental understanding of physiology, anatomy, psychology, biomechanics, sports performance, biochemistry, nutrition, and strength and conditioning – and then apply your knowledge through practical classes and research. During your studies you’ll have many opportunities to use our state of-the art human performance labs, where you’ll learn to assess and improve sporting performance, as well as gain invaluable knowledge on the role exercise plays in improving health and wellbeing.

You’ll also develop the analytical, written and verbal skills expected by employers. The course is also aligned to  a vocational qualification accredited through the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) with the option after year one of becoming a qualified fitness instructor. Our Graphic Design BA (Hons) program is driven by a desire to develop graduates that are ready for employment. The course is committed to teaching you how to generate brilliant concepts and the skills required to execute them beautifully. Briefs will allow students to explore the widest definitions of contemporary graphic design by encouraging them to explore their own interests, be experimental and push the boundaries of the subject. Projects will focus on creating typographic and image-based solutions including posters, books, websites and films as well as packaging, identity and typeface design.
