Bioethics and Health Studies
Bioethics is a field that analyzes the ethical questions raised by advances in medical and scientific technology. It examines these questions both in the clinical context and in health policy. Well-known bioethical topics include abortion, euthanasia and stem cell research. But the field’s area of study has grown dramatically in recent decades in keeping with the rapid pace of biotechnological advances. More recent bioethical work addresses developments in genetics, neuroscience, public health and various emerging fields in the biomedical sciences.

Geology

A public health major is a perfect fit for students who are service-oriented and like to ask the bigger questions about health, understand why health differs across populations, and address health disparities and social justice on a community level in diverse local, national and global settings. As a service-oriented field, public health is a natural fit with the Jesuit mission.

Environmental Studies

International Business
Students in Saint Louis University's international business bachelor's degree program, offered through the Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business, gain global business understanding and experience through courses, student activities, special events and internships.

Students in Saint Louis University's Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business Master of Accounting (M.Acc.) program enhance their professional accounting abilities while developing strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. Our accounting graduates have a long history of success on the CPA exam, with pass rates exceeding both the Missouri and national averages. Our graduates have also earned the Missouri gold medal on several occasions.

Curriculum Overview
SLU's Chaifetz School of Business, with its continuing mission to provide excellence in business education, developed the M.Acc. program to help students gain superior ethical, technical and professional accounting skills. The program provides in-depth expertise in general accounting, taxation and auditing.

The program consists of 30 credits of advanced coursework with between 15 and 21 credits in accounting. The remaining credits will be completed in business electives determined in consultation with the program director. Pre-program requirements in economics, accounting, finance, mathematics and statistics may be required of students without sufficient functional background.
