Well-known bioethical topics include abortion, euthanasia and stem cell research. But the field’s area of study has grown dramatically in recent decades in keeping with the rapid pace of biotechnological advances. More recent bioethical work addresses developments in genetics, neuroscience, public health and various emerging fields in the biomedical sciences.

Meteorology
Meteorology is more than just the study of weather; it includes all the characteristics, structures and processes of the atmosphere. Basic principles of physics and chemistry are applied to discover what makes the atmosphere work. Mathematical equations and techniques are used to predict the weather based on present conditions.

The environmental science program at Saint Louis University focuses on developing a scientific understanding of Earth’s natural systems and their interconnections with human society. The Professional MBA program requirements range from 36-48 credits, depending on prior academic background. The program consists of 12 credits of foundation coursework (economics, accounting, applied business statistics and operations management), 21 credits of advanced managerial core requirements and nine credits of advanced electives. Partial to complete waivers may be offered for the four foundations courses for students demonstrating competency through previous coursework..

Curriculum Overview
SLU's Chaifetz School of Business, with its continuing mission to provide excellence in business education, developed the M.Acc. program to help students gain superior ethical, technical and professional accounting skills. The program provides in-depth expertise in general accounting, taxation and auditing.

The program consists of 30 credits of advanced coursework with between 15 and 21 credits in accounting. The remaining credits will be completed in business electives determined in consultation with the program director. Pre-program requirements in economics, accounting, finance, mathematics and statistics may be required of students without sufficient functional background.
