Entrepreneurship
Entrepreneurship focuses on preparing individuals for personal and financial success through the starting of their own firms or social ventures, taking their place in the management of the family firm or assuming a position of leadership as a corporate entrepreneur introducing new products/services or opening new markets.

In addition to the Master of Arts in Educational Leadership, a master's degree with a concentration in Catholic education is offered. The Catholic education concentration is designed to prepare students for school-level leadership positions, most commonly principalship in Catholic elementary, middle and high schools, as well as teacher leadership. Coursework engages students with the unique aspects of Catholic educational leadership, including spiritual leadership and the vocation of a Catholic school leader and non-public school administration such as funding mechanisms and applicable laws, while preparing students to take the Missouri assessments for principal certi?cation.

The degree requires a completion of 32 credits of coursework and culmination examinations. The Catholic education concentration requires completion of 33 credits of coursework. An additional three-credit internship is required for Catholic education students wishing to pursue Missouri Principal Certification.

Biochemistry
Saint Louis University's Bachelor of Arts in biochemistry is designed for students interested in the applications of chemistry to the life sciences. The program prepares students for professional schools such as medicine, dentistry, law and pharmacy, and provides excellent preparation for those interested in working in biochemistry, molecular biology or biotechnology.

Saint Louis University's master’s program in communication is designed to teach students to be conscientious thinkers and leaders who communicate effectively in a diverse world and who understand the social implications of media and communication technology. Through their coursework, our communication M.A. students develop fluency in communication theory that can be used to solve practical problems. Students learn to ask thoughtful questions and find engaging answers by building the skill sets necessary to develop research protocols, evaluate messages, analyze data and share these findings with various stakeholders. 

Criminology and criminal justice (CCJ) are fields of study that incorporate an interdisciplinary perspective to examine the causes and correlates of criminal behavior as well as the institutions that respond to such behavior. A degree in criminology and criminal justice provides a comprehensive academic foundation into the nature of criminal offending, victimization, law enforcement, court administration, the law, and both community and institutional corrections.

Saint Louis University's Master of Arts in Student Personnel Administration (SPA) emphasizes the interplay of theory and practice in higher education.
The degree requires the completion of 32 credits of coursework and a comprehensive written examination. Students may choose one of two tracks for the M.A. in SPA:

• Disability Education Track

Investigative and Medical Sciences
Saint Louis University's investigative and medical sciences (IMS) program meets the needs of students considering any of a wide variety of career paths in the health sciences. It is designed mainly as a pre-professional program for students looking to advance in health care education and is ideal preparation for medical, physician assistant, dental, pharmacy, optometry or other health-related graduate programs.

A Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry provides excellent preparation for students seeking employment in industry (chemical, pharmaceutical, agriculture, etc.) or the government (Department of Defense labs, regulatory agencies, law enforcement), as well as for those wishing to continue their studies in professional school (medical, dental, veterinary, law, etc.) and graduate school.

Dietetics — the application of food and nutrition knowledge to promote health, prevent disease and minimize disability — is a rapidly growing profession in allied health. Dietitians are dedicated to helping the public attain better health and longevity through the use of sound nutrition practices. Saint Louis University's nutrition and dietetics program is one of the few in the nation that allows you to become both a registered dietitian nutritionist and a certified chef. Graduates are prepared with foundation knowledge and skills to enter the field of nutrition

Biostatistics
Saint Louis University's Bachelor of Science in Biostatistics degree is offered through the College for Public Health and Social Justice, which is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health. Using the American Statistical Association's guidelines for undergraduate data science programs, the curriculum trains students in the management, analysis, and interpretation of data within the context of public health and health care. Students gain skills that prepare them to enter the workforce or pursue graduate school after graduation.
