Yet Russia remains a leading player on the world stage, since it covers about one-eighth of the world's surface with lands that are rich in oil and natural resources. Bordering more than a dozen nations in Europe and Asia (many of which were once part of its empire), it has a strong military force with nuclear capabilities, but students who visit the nation find that its residents share the same economic, environmental and security issues that face the rest of the globe.

Saint Louis University's Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMT) prepares graduates for entry-level positions as nuclear medicine technologists.
Nuclear medicine is a medical specialty that uses safe, painless and cost-effective techniques to image the body and treat disease. Nuclear medicine uses very small amounts of radioactive materials to diagnose and treat disease using gamma or PET/CT scanners. Nuclear medicine imaging is unique in that it documents organ function and structure. It is a method of gathering information that may otherwise be unavailable, require surgery or necessitate more expensive diagnostic tests.

Mechanical Engineering
At Saint Louis University’s Parks College of Engineering, Aviation and Technology, we have developed an innovative mechanical engineering curriculum that provides hands-on experiences complementing theoretical knowledge. Our students work with fluids, thermal, material, structural testing, mechatronics and robotics equipment, which provides an excellent opportunity to integrate theory with real-world applications.

The Center for Advanced Dental Education (CADE) at Saint Louis University offers a program in the specialty of endodontics that leads to the Master of Science in Dentistry degree and a certificate in endodontics. This program is offered in close affiliation with the Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health AT Still University. The program requirements are conducted at both Saint Louis University and the Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health AT Still.
