Fieldwork and Research Opportunities
SLU's program offers students a practice-integrated education, including a 12-week internship with senior leaders in many of the nation's top health systems and health care organizations. Internship experiences are based on students' individual goals, objectives and preferences. Students are transformed into knowledgeable, ethical professionals prepared for a range of management careers across the health sector. Applied, practical projects are an important means of professional growth. In addition to the internship between years one and two of the program, students will work on multiple applied projects throughout the curriculum.

Chemistry

Curriculum Overview
The supply chain management profession addresses the critical link between demand creation and the fulfillment of demand. Supply chain management professionals participate in fundamental decisions associated with current and future business success, addressing product design, sourcing, transportation, storage, e-commerce and delivery of the final goods to the customers. Information technology plays an important role in making transactions efficient (cost saving) and effective (meeting customer’s needs). The global nature of the supply chain industry makes this discipline exciting and rewarding.

Students in Saint Louis University's Master of Science in Supply Chain Management program will also gain additional exposure to the design, implementation and management of efficient ways to integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, warehouses and stores. At Saint Louis University’s Parks College of Engineering, Aviation and Technology, we have developed an innovative mechanical engineering curriculum that provides hands-on experiences complementing theoretical knowledge.
