English

Electrical Engineering
At Saint Louis University’s Parks College of Engineering, Aviation and Technology, we have developed a unique, hands-on electrical engineering program that incorporates analysis, design and development of electrical systems.

As a student in the electrical engineering program at Parks College, you will gain a solid foundation through a combination of coursework and hands-on learning. You will use the physical properties of electricity and mathematics to design systems that collect, analyze, and use information, as well as distribute and utilize electrical energy, and design the electrical systems that are at the heart of today’s technology such as smartphones, tablets, internet-ready televisions, satellites and many other devices.

Offered through Saint Louis University's School for Professional Studies, the Master of Science in Analytics curriculum will teach you to design and implement analytics projects to solve complex organizational problems through statistical and analytical techniques for analyzing datasets of various sizes. Through your coursework, you'll gain skills in project management, decision making, and learn how to communicate the intricacies of complex data more effectively. 

Along the way, you’ll learn from a network of diverse peers from around the world, merging technology with human and organizational structures as you engage in knowledge discovery, management, and dissemination of industry-critical knowledge. Saint Louis University's Master of Arts (M.A.) degree program in French offers a diverse curriculum in French language, cultures and literatures, including Francophone studies, film and gender studies. 

The master's French program is designed to suit the needs of those planning or already engaged in professional careers such as teaching or international affairs. At the same time, SLU's French M.A. program provides excellent preparation for studies in French beyond the master’s degree.

Opportunities for student development include participation in the annual SLU Graduate Student Symposium and the annual departmental Undergraduate and Graduate Symposium. Students also have the option to study abroad in a French-speaking country during a summer, in an approved program, for up to six transfer credits.

Students in Saint Louis University's Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business Master of Accounting (M.Acc.) program enhance their professional accounting abilities while developing strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. Our accounting graduates have a long history of success on the CPA exam, with pass rates exceeding both the Missouri and national averages. Our graduates have also earned the Missouri gold medal on several occasions.

Curriculum Overview
SLU's Chaifetz School of Business, with its continuing mission to provide excellence in business education, developed the M.Acc. program to help students gain superior ethical, technical and professional accounting skills. The program provides in-depth expertise in general accounting, taxation and auditing.

The program consists of 30 credits of advanced coursework with between 15 and 21 credits in accounting. The remaining credits will be completed in business electives determined in consultation with the program director. Pre-program requirements in economics, accounting, finance, mathematics and statistics may be required of students without sufficient functional background.

Marketing
Marketing focuses first and foremost on customers — understanding them, attracting them, and maintaining their loyalty. In this way, marketing undertakes the management of demand. The Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business marketing program at Saint Louis University provides students with the practical skills and training necessary to succeed in professional marketing positions worldwide. In addition, graduates are creative in their approach to problem-solving with an understanding of human behavior in its qualitative and quantitative dimensions.

Students who graduate from Saint Louis University's meteorology programs are trained to be meteorologists. They study the dynamics of air motion; physical processes such as transfer of radiation; and convection resulting in severe storms, flash floods and hurricanes. Research is underway at SLU on heavy precipitation, regional climate and air quality using numerical weather prediction models. Faculty members collaborate with research meteorologists at national centers, as well as operational meteorologists at the St. Louis National Weather Service forecast offices.

Health Data Science

Saint Louis University's undergraduate degree in international studies is offered through the College of Arts and Science's Political Science department.
