Radiation Therapy
If you choose to major in radiation therapy at Saint Louis University, you will learn to treat cancer patients with high-energy radiation using highly specialized equipment. You will focus on helping plan and administer prescribed doses of radiation to affected areas as directed by a radiation oncologist.

Communities and organizations in the 21st century require professionals with interdisciplinary skills and preparation to handle many complex challenges. The Master of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice (MACCJ) degree prepares students to meet these challenges by providing them with a core criminological knowledge foundation and the opportunity to gain further skills and enhance their graduate education by selecting one of three diverse concentrations:

• Administration of Justice
• Emergency Management
• Treatment and Rehabilitation

The MACCJ degree prepares graduates to be advanced practitioners in a variety of community and justice agency/organizational settings. The program is offered in variable formats: most classes are offered on campus in the evening but one concentration, emergency management, is currently offered online only.

The Professional MBA program at Saint Louis University's Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business is tailored to accommodate the schedules of working professionals. 

The Chaifetz School’s broad-based Professional MBA program, ranked in the top 40 nationally by U.S. News & World Report for 2021, prepares students to succeed in management roles through the development of strategic skills and knowledge in a range of functional business areas. In addition to the managerial core, students can focus elective coursework in one of 10 concentration areas including the Chaifetz School’s nationally ranked specialty areas of accounting (No. 40), entrepreneurship (No. 10), international business (No. 11) and supply chain management (No. 13).

Meteorology
Meteorology is more than just the study of weather; it includes all the characteristics, structures and processes of the atmosphere. Basic principles of physics and chemistry are applied to discover what makes the atmosphere work. Mathematical equations and techniques are used to predict the weather based on present conditions.

Criminology and Criminal Justice
Criminology and criminal justice (CCJ) are fields of study that incorporate an interdisciplinary perspective to examine the causes and correlates of criminal behavior as well as the institutions that respond to such behavior. A degree in criminology and criminal justice provides a comprehensive academic foundation into the nature of criminal offending, victimization, law enforcement, court administration, the law, and both community and institutional corrections.

The Department of Communication at Saint Louis University integrates the study of human communication, media and strategic communication in innovative ways to prepare students for careers in journalism and media; advertising; public relations; and corporate, government and nonprofit settings.

Saint Louis University's Department of Chemistry offers master's students close mentoring relationships, small research groups and opportunities to participate in interdisciplinary research.

Saint Louis University's investigative and medical sciences (IMS) program meets the needs of students considering any of a wide variety of career paths in the health sciences. It is designed mainly as a pre-professional program for students looking to advance in health care education and is ideal preparation for medical, physician assistant, dental, pharmacy, optometry or other health-related graduate programs.
