CQUniversity's Bachelor of Business is an innovative course that builds foundation business and management skills and prepares you for the future world of work. The course allows you to build your knowledge, skills, and practice in your chosen profession or discipline through authentic learning experiences that develop engaged globally-aware citizens able to contribute to communities and industry. The course is designed for students who are planning a career in business and management in diverse organisations.

There are eight compulsory core units and a choice of one of four business discipline majors. You can then choose a second major or two minors from the business discipline providing you meet the pre-requisite requirements. This provides you with the unique opportunity to develop a breadth of knowledge to meet and adapt to the changing nature of careers and work. In addition, you may be eligible to study a masters level minor in a cognate discipline to develop a depth of knowledge that will make you uniquely attractive to employers.

The Bachelor of Information Technology is a highly practical degree that will equip you with a broad foundation of IT knowledge and skills and embeds work-integrated learning opportunities to prepare you for a successful career in the information technology (IT) industry. During your studies, your core units will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of key areas in IT and computer-based systems. From your second term, you will begin to study units from your chosen major - Application Development, Business Analysis or Cyber Security.

In this innovative course, the origins and evolution of public health and the underlying principles of community-based and community-led public health will be explored. The social-ecological model of health forms the basis of the Graduate Diploma in Public Health and you will be introduced to complex adaptive systems thinking and how this influences the way we think about public health.

This approach reflects contemporary trends in public health and provides the basis of innovative interventions for social change. You will undertake units that outline the origins and evolution of public health and the underlying principles of community-based and community-led public health. You will explore fundamental concepts associated with these principles, including complex adaptive systems thinking, social and environmental determinants of health, social epidemiology, social justice, partnership development and participatory research.
