Our sequential proficiency levels will take you from scratch to fluency or near fluency. If you already know some Spanish you will be able to enter your major or minor from an intermediate level. You have the opportunity to explore the nature of the modern world – the forces that have shaped our past and present, and the ways historians interpret historical events. Themes covered include the world in the twentieth century, war and peace, modernisation and social change, colonialism, and gender. Criminology
Criminology provides students with a theoretical and practical understanding of crime, including causes of crime and different techniques used to control crime, within the broader context of the criminal justice system.
